Kids, Choose the Right while you earn money and a free set of CTR Club Books.

CTR Parties are designed to help children associate fun with character and values, aiding them in thinking about practical ways they can “choose the right.” The parties also introduce literature that not only speaks to them about problems they face, but is entertaining and easy to read.

On this web page you will find a list of games you can play and various activities you can do. For throwing this party, you will receive one “FREE” set of CTR books, provided you can register at least 8 new attendees to be CTR club members and turn in an order for at least 8 individual books or 3 sets. Publishing books, promoting the program, and maintaining the website to work together in promoting great values for children, is a costly venture. To help defray your cost for party prizes and refreshments, you will be repaid 40% of whatever book sales you can make. Enclosed is an order form. Throw the party, have the attendees order from you, and send the checks made out to: Embracing Excellence; 10196 N Hidden Pond Dr, Highland UT 84003. A check for your portion of sales and the books will then be mailed or delivered to you. Please make sure the attendees fill out the registration form so we can keep them updated on the new supportive material that is being developed, and to qualify for your free books. Ongoing books in the adventure series are expected to come out soon.

As an added bonus for parents of your party children, a set of Trivia Questions is enclosed. Parents can encourage the children to read the books, then go back to answer the questions. The questions are not easy, and the child will have to search through the chapter to find the answers. It will help the child get more involved with the text, more excited about the small details of the club, and will increase their reading ability and reinforce the positive values. Another bonus is the discussion questions for the books. The questions are designed to be open-ended and help the parent have meaningful in-depth conversations with their children about different values. Although it would help, the parents do not need to have read the books to go over the questions with their child.
