New Series Brings Families Together
for the Coming Year

CTR Club Adventures by award-winning author
teaches positive character development

Orem, UT 18 January 2006 Many families will begin this New Year with the goal of spending more quality time together, and a new children book series, CTR Club Adventures, is aimed at doing just that. The four-book series, which encourages children to develop a clear set of values, principles, and positive character traits, is a valuable tool for parents in teaching their children right from wrong. The books follow Brittany, an eleven year old, as she learns to make the right decisions.
     Lisa J. Peck, author of the four-book series and mother of six, knows first-hand how difficult it can be to ensure children get that quality time with parents, and that those moments are crucial to character building and family solidarity.
     I wrote the books based on real life decisions and dilemma that children face, said Lisa J. So much of a child personality and character is developed within the home. The reader follows Brittany on her humorous adventures and mishaps in her daily life. Along the way, readers see Brittany struggle with right and wrong and the consequences that come with both. Through her experiences, she decides to start a TR Club that encourages her, as well as others, to make the right choices when faced with troubling situations. Ultimately, Brittany actions influence her friends and those around her in positive ways.
